Home: A Very Minnesota Celebration

CivicFest will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center from
August 29 through September 4, 2008.

Event Hours:

Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for students, seniors and active-duty military; children under 8 admitted free. Group rates are $10 for adults and $6 for students, seniors and active-duty military in groups of twenty or more.

Visitors to CivicFest will receive a commemorative credential, have their photos taken in a replica of the Oval Office, attend performances at the Live Stage, view simulcasts of convention sessions from a replica of the Convention Floor, shop in a 300-vendor Marketplace and view more than 35 exhibits including the Model White House.

150,000 visitors are expected to attend including: metro residents and school groups;  visitors to the State Fair, the Mall of America and other local attractions; and the delegates, guests and media attending the 2008 Republican National Convention.
