CivicFest: Student Field Trips

The CivicFest Student Field Trip is ideal for students in
grades 4 through 8. 

Field trips will be held Friday, August 29, Wednesday, September 3 and Thursday, September 4 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. 

The goals of the CivicFest Student Field Trip Program are; to help provide students with extraordinary learning opportunities that will connect them to the excitement of having a national convention in our city and to provide students with an experience which they otherwise might not have.  In order to accomplish this, the Minneapolis Saint Paul 2008 Host Committee is offering a discounted price on group tickets for school groups and youth groups.  Schools and youth groups can purchase tickets at the group ticket rate of $6.00 per student. Group ticket orders of 20 or more will be processed directly through Kelley Charlton at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Please call 612.335.6125 and your order will be completed over the phone.

A limited number grants are available to help cover the ticket costs for student field trips to this once in a lifetime experience.  Click here for information on eligibility and how to apply for a grant.
