04Walleye: Schools of Fish CompetitionThe Schools of Fish Competition - Walleye Art Contest is a statewide artistic competition open to all Minnesota residents. Entrants are asked to select a uniquely Minnesota theme for their design such as a “10,000 Lakes Walleye”, a “Minnesota Vikings Walleye”, a “Sculpture Garden Walleye”, a “Mall of America Walleye”, a “Paul Bunyan Walleye” or walleyes celebrating famous Minnesotans, events in Minnesota history, Minnesota seasons and the great outdoors or Minnesota’s recreational or cultural treasures. Winning designs in the following age categories; 6-12 years-old, 13-17 years-old, 18 years-old and up, will be selected by CivicFest, and a 4’ birch plywood walleye (flat board) will be sent via UPS to each winning entrant to be decorated by the entrant and returned to CivicFest for display at CivicFest’s Walleye School of Fish exhibit at the Minneapolis Convention Center August 29-September 4, 2008.Supporting Documents Walleye School of Fish Contest Rules (PDF, 92K) |
